Photography + motherhood + honesty + smidge of sarcasm = my blog. I'm a mom, who works full time, and loves to take pictures of my family and friends. And if you want me to, I'll even take pictures of your family and friends! BUT, if I arrive and you are all dressed in khakis and white shirts, I may keep walking. I would be happy to take pictures for you, but only if you promise to show up with the real you. No props. No perfectly assembled matchy-matchy outfits. No fake smiles. Just you.

I know this look.
This is the look that tells me the photo session is coming to an end. He couldn’t be any more honest if he tried, could he? A true, genuine moment is what I am always trying to capture….I think I nailed it.
