Photography + motherhood + honesty + smidge of sarcasm = my blog. I'm a mom, who works full time, and loves to take pictures of my family and friends. And if you want me to, I'll even take pictures of your family and friends! BUT, if I arrive and you are all dressed in khakis and white shirts, I may keep walking. I would be happy to take pictures for you, but only if you promise to show up with the real you. No props. No perfectly assembled matchy-matchy outfits. No fake smiles. Just you.

Whatever you do, DON'T....
...smile.
(Reverse Psychology has its place, namely, when photographing 3 year olds.)
As you can see, little man failed miserable at my instructions. He was all smiles. :) And he had precisely what it took to make his little brother smile too.
